The apartment mystery shop - Pt. 1

The good news? Apartment shops usually pay somewhere around $20 to $40 an assignment. The bad news? Apartment shops usually take somewhere around 2-3 hours including travel, onsite visit, and the report. If you hate writing narratives more than live avoid apartment shops. Most often they will require at least three narratives. What’s in a narrative? A play-by-play summary of your interaction with the consultant - where you went, what they showed you, and their sales techniques I what usually comprises a narrative. Narratives are usually required to be a minimum of 100-200 words. Frankly I do that in my sleep so apartment shops don’t scare me. ;)

Here’s come the caps again - R E A D all of your instructions. Does your apartment mystery shop have a target? Are you required to make a pre-visit phone call? Can you ask for a tour of the facility if the associate doesn’t offer one? These are things that you need to know before attempting to complete the assignment.
